Frequently Asked Questions

HOW MUCH IS A PHOTO SHOOT?

Prices vary depending on the project. Things like planning, style, travel time, turn around time, creative freedom etc. are all taken into account. Once we have a plan in mind I can give you a quote, or we can work to a budget if you have one in mind. I take every job seriously and always aim to deliver a five star service.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU GET?

Unlike most photographers, I don’t cap my deliverables. Whilst you will be promised a minimum amount of photos (usually around 15), I will edit and deliver all those that I deem to be of a professional standard at no extra cost.

CAN YOU HELP WITH IDEAS?

Absolutely, the creative process starts at ideation and I love getting involved to help you realise your vision. This can be anything from location scouting, sourcing props and materials, or sharing reference images on a moodboard.

WHAT IS A RETAINER?

Working as a freelance photographer, long-term deals give me security. A retainer deal is a longer term agreement for ongoing content for you or your business, at a discounted rate. The benefits don’t stop there though, as I have found that each time I visit a venue, I continue to learn and the photos and videos get better and better. It is an investment into showcasing you or your business in the best possible light and growing your online presence.

WHAT IF I AM BAD IN FRONT OF CAMERA?

With portraits, almost everyone says this - and it is completely normal. To counter this, I have a posing PDF guide which I can send free of charge, and I can talk you through poses, and show you reference images as we shoot. Unlike a lot of photographers I also show you images as we are shooting. I have found that once you see a few images you like on the camera, you can relax a bit! You know you look good and we have a few in the bank.
